Ghanaian defender, Ofosu-Mensah was an unused substitute when Manchester United cruised to a 0-2 victory over Ajax on Wednesday in the final of UEFA Europa League on Wednesday.

Manchester United scored in each half of the game: Paul Pogba deflected shot beat the Ajax goalie in the 18th minute, before Henrikh Mkhitaryan sealed the victory for Manchester United.

The win has handed Manchester United a UEFA Champions League spot next season.

Ofosu-Mensah, 19 featured four times for Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League, but couldn’t register any goal for the Red Devils.

Timothy Ofosu-Mensah whose parents are Ghanaian was born in Netherlands and having played for the junior national teams of the Dutch, he is still eligible to play for the Black Stars.
